Kaynes Semicon, a subsidiary of Kaynes Technology, is preparing to launch its Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) plant in Sanand, Gujarat, on March 31. This event will be attended by prominent leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.

The OSAT facility represents a substantial investment of Rs 3,307 crore and is the second of ten approved projects under the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) 1.0 to commence commercial operations.
