Kidbea, an omnichannel kidswear brand, has successfully raised ₹30 Cr (approximately $3.2 million) in its Series A funding round. The investment was led by Enrission India Capital, with contributions from Inflection Point Ventures, LetsVenture, FE Securities, and existing investors including Venture Catalysts, Nitish Mittersain of Nazara Technologies, and Innov8 founder Ritesh Malik.
Notable participants in this funding round also included Mamaearth’s Ghazal Alagh, Unacademy co-founder Roman Saini, several family offices, and various angel investors.
Based in Delhi NCR, Kidbea plans to utilize the new funds to increase its retail presence by establishing over 100 flagship stores and entering more than 200 multi-brand outlets across India within the next 12 to 24 months. Part of the capital will also be allocated to the introduction of new product categories.
Founded in 2021 by Swapnil Srivastav, Mohammad Hussain, Aman Kumar Mahto, and Ankita Rani, Kidbea specializes in sustainable clothing made from bamboo for children.
The brand has developed a patent-pending textile finish that makes its fabrics resistant to liquid and oil-based stains, allowing spills to bead up for easy cleaning.
Initially launched as a direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand, Kidbea has transitioned to an omnichannel model, selling products through its website and major e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, FirstCry, and AJIO, alongside physical retail locations. It currently operates flagship stores in cities like Hyderabad, Pune, Indore, and Bengaluru.
Kidbea's product range includes rompers, onesies, nightwear, newborn essentials, and accessories for infants and toddlers, catering to the increasing demand for safe and sustainable options. The brand also offers soft toys and various kids’ accessories, including feeding bottles and nibblers.
Featured in Inc42’s FAST42’s 2026 edition, Kidbea reported a remarkable 97% year-over-year revenue growth, reaching ₹41 Cr in FY25. The brand aims to build a global, multi-billion-dollar business, targeting ₹500 Cr in revenue and a public listing by 2030.
In the competitive landscape of organic kidswear, Kidbea faces rivals such as Ed-a-Mamma, Nino Bambino, Greendigo, INCLUD, Nap Chief, and Moms Home.
The broader Indian kidswear market is projected to grow to between $27.1 billion and $29.4 billion by 2030-2033, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of around 3%.
