Nexus Venture Partners Divests ₹530 Cr in Delhivery Shares

Nexus Venture Partners has recently divested 1.2 crore shares of Delhivery, a major player in the logistics sector, for a total of ₹530.4 crore through multiple block deals.

The firm sold 1.04 crore shares at ₹442 each via its Nexus Ventures III fund, generating ₹461.3 crore. Additionally, it offloaded 15.6 lakh shares from its Nexus Opportunity Fund for ₹69.1 crore.

Notable buyers of these shares included Alphamine, BNP Paribas, Edelweiss Mutual Fund, and ICICI Prudential Life Insurance. The largest transactions were made by Nippon India Mutual Fund and SBI Mutual Fund, each acquiring over 45.8 lakh shares valued at ₹202.2 crore.

The shares were sold at a nearly 4% discount compared to the last closing price on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). As of December 2025, Nexus Ventures III held a 4.49% stake in Delhivery, equivalent to 3.35 crore shares.

This sale follows previous divestments by Nexus, which included the sale of 1.2 crore shares for ₹461 crore in June last year and another 78.19 lakh shares for ₹344 crore in August 2024.

At the time of Delhivery's listing in 2022, Nexus held a 10.26% stake in the company but has been gradually reducing its holdings since then.

The recent stake sale appears to be a strategic move by Nexus to realize profits, as Delhivery's stock has experienced significant growth, rising over 85% in the past year and more than 14% year-to-date on the BSE.

Delhivery's growth has been attributed to its expansion into hyperlocal and quick commerce logistics, increased volumes in express and part-truckload segments, and improvements in profitability. In the third quarter of the fiscal year 2025-26, Delhivery reported a net profit of ₹39.6 crore, a 59% increase from ₹24.9 crore in the same quarter last year, with revenues rising 18% year-over-year to ₹2,804.9 crore.

At the end of the trading session, Delhivery's shares closed 4.2% higher at ₹460.
