Stripe has appointed Manish Maheshwari as head of revenue and growth for India. He will support businesses expanding globally, especially AI firms. With experience at Twitter, Flipkart, and Intuit, Maheshwari said that he aims to "provide businesses with the foundational infrastructure they need to scale and monetise globally."“At Stripe, Maheshwari will focus on enabling businesses that are building for global markets, particularly a new generation of AI companies that are scaling internationally from day one,” the company said in a press release.
Maheshwari brings more than twenty years of experience across technology, internet platforms, and startups. He has held senior roles at Twitter, Flipkart, and Intuit, and has also founded ventures such as Fanory. ai.

In June 2021, Maheshwari faced legal trouble after Uttar Pradesh Police filed an FIR over a viral video on Twitter (now X) of an attack on an elderly man, claiming it led to unrest.
That same month, he and another executive were also booked over a distorted map of India shown on the platform, which showed Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh as outside the country.
Following these controversies, after nearly two years as managing director of Twitter India, Maheshwari moved to a new role in the company’s US operations in August 2021.
