To facilitate broader deployment across companies, new organization controls are being introduced. These include:
- Role-Based Access Controls: Admins can now categorize users into groups and assign custom roles that define their access to Claude Cowork's features.
- Group Spend Limits: Admins can set budgets for each team, allowing for predictable costs that can be adjusted as needs evolve.
- Usage Analytics: Activity data is now accessible in the admin dashboard, enabling tracking of sessions and active users, along with detailed analytics through the API.
- Expanded OpenTelemetry Support: This feature allows for detailed event tracking, compatible with standard SIEM pipelines.
- Zoom MCP Connector: A new integration with Zoom provides meeting intelligence directly within Claude Cowork, including summaries and action items.
- Per Tool Connector Controls: Admins can manage which actions are available within each connector, enhancing governance.
Early adopters have reported that as teams begin to utilize Claude Cowork, they often seek to expand its use, prompting considerations around access and management.
Organizations have successfully implemented Claude Cowork for various functions beyond engineering, including operations, marketing, and finance. Users have noted significant improvements in efficiency, with tasks that once required specialized tools now being completed independently.
