Anthropic has partnered with Blackstone, Hellman & Friedman, and Goldman Sachs to establish a new AI services company. This initiative aims to integrate Claude, Anthropic's AI system, into the core operations of mid-sized businesses across various sectors. Applied AI engineers from Anthropic will collaborate with the engineering teams of these companies to identify impactful applications of Claude, develop tailored solutions, and provide ongoing support.
The new venture is further supported by a consortium of prominent alternative asset managers, including General Atlantic, Leonard Green, Apollo Global Management, GIC, and Sequoia Capital.
Purpose of the New Company: The goal is to effectively deploy Claude in organizations that may lack the internal resources to implement advanced AI solutions. By leveraging hands-on engineering expertise and a deep understanding of business operations, the new firm aims to enhance the capabilities of mid-sized companies, from community banks to regional health systems.
Krishna Rao, CFO of Anthropic, emphasized the growing demand for Claude, stating that the new firm will enhance delivery capabilities and bring additional capital to the ecosystem.
Engagement Process: Initial engagements will involve small teams working closely with clients to determine where Claude can provide the most benefit. Engineers, alongside Anthropic's Applied AI staff, will create customized Claude-powered systems that fit seamlessly into existing workflows.
For instance, in a multi-site healthcare network, the engineering team might collaborate with clinicians to develop tools that streamline documentation and coding processes, ultimately allowing healthcare providers to focus more on patient care.
Expanding the Claude Partner Network: This new company will also join Anthropic’s Claude Partner Network, which includes partnerships with major consulting firms like Accenture, Deloitte, and PwC. These collaborations are crucial for implementing complex transformation programs that utilize Claude across large enterprises.
The ongoing expansion of the Claude Partner Network aims to ensure that organizations can effectively harness the capabilities of Claude and benefit from its integration into their operations.
