Key Changes Effective Immediately:
- Doubling the five-hour rate limits for Claude Code across Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans.
- Removing peak hour limit reductions for Pro and Max accounts on Claude Code.
- Substantial increases in API rate limits for Claude Opus models.
This partnership grants Anthropic access to over 300 megawatts of compute capacity at SpaceX's Colossus 1 data center, which includes more than 220,000 NVIDIA GPUs. This enhancement is expected to directly benefit Claude Pro and Max subscribers.

In addition to the SpaceX agreement, Anthropic is actively exploring various hardware options for training and running Claude, including AWS Trainium, Google TPUs, and NVIDIA GPUs. The company is also considering the development of orbital AI compute capacity with SpaceX.
