Gnani.ai Secures $10 Million in Series B Funding for Voice Technology Expansion

Gnani.ai, a startup specializing in generative technology, has successfully raised $10 million (approximately ₹94 crore) in its Series B funding round, led by Aavishkaar Capital, with participation from InfoEdge Ventures.

The funds will be utilized to broaden the company's customer base by venturing into new verticals and international markets. A significant portion will also support research, development, and talent acquisition.

Founded in 2016 by Ganesh Gopalan and Ananth Nagaraj, Gnani.ai recently introduced its voice-first technology, Inya, at the India Impact AI Summit 2026.

Gnani.ai offers B2B solutions aimed at improving customer experiences for large enterprises across various sectors, including BFSI, telecommunications, e-commerce, and healthcare. The company currently services over 200 enterprises.

“Our newly launched Vachna TTS (text-to-speech) can clone voices in just six seconds and supports multiple languages, even if trained in only one,” stated co-founder Gopalan.

In December 2025, the company launched Vachana STT, a speech-to-text solution tailored for Indian languages, which is part of its upcoming VoiceOS technology stack.

Gnani.ai was selected under the IndiaAI Mission to develop a foundational voice technology model capable of multilingual and real-time speech processing.

Inya, the latest product, is a comprehensive platform that enables businesses to create, deploy, and manage agents across voice and digital channels, already attracting over 150 customers.

This funding round reflects the increasing interest from investors in the domestic technology sector, driven by the rising adoption of advanced tools. The Indian market for such technologies is expected to grow significantly, potentially reaching a $126 billion valuation by 2030.
